Best Meta Cards for Clash Royale Season 44 in February 2023
Firecracker and Monk have become more powerful this season, meaning they are being used a lot in decks. Log has also been included quite often but it was recently weakened slightly by reducing the pushback effect when attacked by 30%. This could affect its usefulness with Hog Rider or bait-type decks which have been popular lately.
This season, Rocket and Phoenix have both taken heavy hits with the former getting a 17% reduction in damage dealt to Crown Towers and the latter seeing its hitpoints drop by 20%. This means that strategies such as bait decks will be significantly weakened due to nerfs of cards like Logs and Rockets.
The Knight and Archer units have been made stronger as they weren't doing well compared to other options. They are both quite basic, so there are better alternatives available that can be used in a variety of decks. Until the two receive major buffs or get changed entirely, it's unlikely we'll see them being widely used in meta decks.
