As we approach the end of September, Clash Royale fans gear up for the October season. This period brings a seismic shift to the game as the Gold Pass will be discontinued. Yes, that's right. The Pass Royale system has undergone a significant change: an entirely new tier is launched while the free version is receiving a simultaneous revamp.

The rationale behind the Gold Pass removal is to streamline the Pass Royale procedure. The new premium option, named Diamond Pass, comes packed with numerous incentives and perks. Concurrently, the features of the Free Pass are enhanced, ensuring an enjoyable experience for everyone.

Looking at the schedule, the Gold Pass will no longer be up for grabs from the Supercell Store if you initiate the game immediately. By the 2nd of October, the monthly update will start, keeping the September season and pass active for a brief duration. The Gold Pass will eventually be phased out on October 7th and the Diamond Pass will stand in its place.

The introduction of this new tier kickstarts a superior reward system featuring an array of exclusive perks. These comprise special cosmetics like the Tower skin and emote, Gold, and numerous banners. Even the Chests are given an upgrade, including the Royal Wild Chest and the Legendary King’s Chest. Moreover, Lucky Drops have been added, providing more chances to hit the jackpot.
