TFT Set 8.5: Glitched Out Came with Patch 13.6 on March 22
Patch 13.6 is the launch date of TFT Set 8.5: Glitched Out! On March 22, 2023, this month-end patch was finally released. As usual, this new patch brought new champions and traits just as fans expected. Champion balance adjustments, New item options, bug fixes and more are also concluded. Align with the release of the 13.6 patch notes, the mid-set update, TFT Set 8.5: Glitched Out came on the same day with new surprises and tons of new content. TFT Set 8.5: Glitched Out Update Recap
As with every mid-set update, new champions and traits are added. This time, in the Set 8.5 update, TFT also introduced a brand new in-game mechanic: Glitched Out system. Other new introductions in the TFT Set 8.5: Glitched Out update were added new and returning heroes, hero augments, item changes, and the most-expected Glitched Out Mechanic System.
Glitched Out Mechanic System
One of the highlights of the TFT Set 8.5 update is the all-new Glitched Out mechanic. As the main feature of this mid-set update, the glitched out carousels reward players with a handful of bonuses, including various loot. The glitched out carousels at stage two always occur in the game, while carousels from stage three to six will still have chances to activate. The carousel stage two rewards are often loot of Training Dummies and Golden Eggs. It is important to note that players may get removed from the carousels with no dropping rewards. Even more rich prizes, for example, high-powered bonus loot can be gained from stage three to six. The higher stages you enter, the more valuable items you earn.
