The eFootball™ 2023 update will be released on 25/08/2022

Konami has revealed that eFootball 2023 will be going live on 25/08/2022, and it will not be released as a brand new title, but as a season update. According to the official statement from Konami, tons of new content will be added to the game, including 2 new global ambassadors, new player types, and more.

The eFootball 2023 update along with patch notes and information regarding gameplay improvements will be available on 25/08/2022.

In addition to the already contracted stars Lionel Messi, Takefusa Kubo, and Neymar Jr, Konami will bring 2 new global ambassadors in this update - One is the English star Trent Alexander-Arnold and the other is Portuguese midfield star Bruno Fernandes.

The first season's theme of the eFootball 2023 will be "New Season Kickoff -New Player Types & Licenses-". There will be two brand new player types in the upcoming update - the Highlight card and the Epic card. The Highlight cards will feature players who are doing great in the current season and "have a higher progression ceiling than Featured", and the Epic cards will feature past and present football stars with higher progression ceilings than the Legendary type.
