The e- Sevai Maiyam scheme was formulated under the National eGovernance plan. The e-Sevai Maiyams located are the front end delivery channels to provide various Tamil Nadu Government e-services. As per Government guidelines one e-Sevai Maiyam has to be established for 6 Village Panchayats. As 277 Common Service Centres are running successfully in Kanniyakumari District, the ratio of one e-Sevai centre for one Village Panchayat is established by District Administration, through Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. In Kanniyakumari District, the PPP model is implemented through various service agencies namely Primary Agriculture Cooperative Credit Society (PACCS), M/s TACTV Ltd., Pudhu Vaazhvu Project (VPRCs) aided by Village Poverty Reduction Committees of the World Bank, Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), Fisheries Department (FSHD) who shall establish and operate e-Sevai Centres which are to be the front end e-service delivery points of various schemes of Tamil Nadu Government. Any common public who wants to avail an e-service, he has to always approach the nearest e – Sevai Maiyams to his locality. The IT enabled Government Services should be accessible to the common man in his/her village, through efficient, transparent, reliable and affordable means. The e-services of Revenue Administration for 28 different e-services, Social Welfare Department for 7 services are taken care by these 277 e- Sevai Centres.

“Kumari e – Sevai Centres ” is a Taluk wise , Category wise listing, and location of e-Sevai Centres for any common public of Kanniyakumari District to give immediate list out of e-service delivery channels. This mobile app gives an edge to the common public of Kanniyakumari District for enabling them to reach out the e-Sevai Centres in close proximity without much difficulty.

Kanniyakumari District Administration has synchronised Talukwise, Categorywise apps with their list of e- Sevai Centres to provide their location information at the right time. Such apps help District Administration with the common public to get the benefits of e-Service channels easily.

This App offers a better navigation through Open Street Maps. It can also integrate the locations of all e- Sevai centres filtered Taluk Wise , Category wise with location parameters. It is the most impressive and interesting use of geo-location capabilities.
