Proverbs are like jewels whose value increases with their feet, as they are simply and quickly uttered in cases where we need them as a means of ventilation. We find that they are related to people wherever they are, so the proverb that is said in the Arabian Peninsula we find similar in the outskirts of Europe.

Thus, we find the definitive evidence that proverbs relate to man first and foremost, and man is one everywhere.

And if we agree that civilization is a way of life, and culture is a way of thinking, then we will agree that proverbs are an honest, sensitive, and accurate way of expressing the nation’s culture in explaining its way of life.
