Aarti is a spiritual ritual in Hinduism. Aarti called Aratrika or Niranjan in Sanskrit and Aarthi, Arathi also. Niranjan is the way to bow the deity and beg forgiveness for any mistake in worship. Indeed, aarti is a way of prayer to the almighty God . According to Hinduism, performing the aarti or including in ritual, makes spiritual benefits and holy merit.

Usually, it can be performed by one or five sand lamp (Deepak). The lamps should be placed in odd number such as one, three or five. Five parts are called for Aarthi ritual, first through Deepak, second through conch with water, third through a holy cloth, fourth through the leaf of mango tree or Peepal tree and fifth through the bow to the divinity. Niranjan should be performed with musical instruments.
