This is the first book that was written to collect hadith classified by chapters. The significance of Al-Muwatta is "that which is made easy." This book of Imam Malik named Al-Muwatta was also the first book written in the hadith and jurisprudence at the same time. His birth and his biography

He is nicknamed Abu 'l-Lah Abdi's father Abdou l-Lah. His name is Malik son of Anas son of Abu 'Amir Anas son of Al-Harith son of Ghayman Al-Madani Al-Asbahi.

Imam Malik is the founder of one of the four schools of jurisprudence that has been preserved, known and disseminated in the countries of the Muslims.

Imam Malik was born in Medina the Illuminated in the year 95 AH. He grew up with a lot of application for learning science and the fact of reporting the hadith. As Muhammad Ibn Shihab Az-Zuhri, like Rabiah Ibn Abi 'Abdi-Rahman r the jurisprudence specialist of the people of Medina, as Yahya Ibn Sa'id al-Ansari, as Musa Ibn' Ouqbah and many others have reported of him as the Qadi 'Iyad wrote a book in which he had counted three hundred thousand names of those who have reported from Imam Malik, may Allah be pleased with him.

The best known of them were Sufyan Ath-Thawri and even the Imam Muhammad Ibn Idris Mujtahid Ash-Shafi'i and Abdou l-Lah Ibn l-Mubarak.
