Allianz ePA-App

With the Allianz ePA app you can use the electronic patient file (ePA).

Your health data is bundled in one place in the electronic patient file (Allianz ePA app). Simply upload the documents via the app or have your doctors upload important documents. This gives you an overview and can actively take care of your health.

If necessary, you can quickly provide your doctors with the most important documents. With just a few simple steps you can provide doctors with data on previous illnesses, allergies or prescribed medications.

You decide for yourself which data is stored in your ePA and which doctor's offices, hospitals or pharmacies can access it. You also determine the release period. In this way, you can grant the person access, for example to upload new documents at short notice or in the longer term to accompany you during your treatment.

As the central storage of your personal health data, the ePA must meet the strictest legal security requirements and go through a complex approval process. Among other things, data encryption and a particularly secure access procedure ensure that your data is kept safe.

Further functions are planned for the future, which we will implement according to the specifications of the Telematics Society (gematik). Use is voluntary and free of charge for you.

FUNCTIONS

With this app you can

- Protect your personal health information with secure login

- Upload your medical documents such as doctor's letters, diagnoses, findings or medication plans to a secure storage location and manage them there

- share these documents with your doctors

- Have your doctors create and view digital documents: doctor's documents, invoices, X-rays, MRI, vaccination certificate, maternity certificate, child examination booklet

- Manage access permissions and representations

- use the Allianz patient file on multiple devices.

SECURITY

The security of your health information is very important to us. To ensure that only you or people authorized by you have access to your ePA, we will securely identify you once when you register. To do this, please choose one of the following options in the app:

- Postident: Choose from an identification at the post office or

- with your electronic ID card via the Deutsche Post app.

Both are built directly into the registration process.

REQUIREMENTS

- Exclusively for Allianz fully insured people

- Smartphone with NFC interface

- at least Android 10.0

- no device with a modified operating system.
