With joy and humble thanks giving, the community of Adoration Sisters embark on a journey of silence, prayer, aiming to draw others to the Spring of Life and strive to become closer to the mystery of God’s love through devoted service and sacrifice. Archbishop Kavukattu Memorial Public School And Junior College was started with an objective to adore children, empowering them through qualifying and quality-fying educational and co-educational programs, on behalf of God.

It was the long cherished desire of the Adoration Sisters of the St. Thomas Province Changanacherry, to start an educational organization with an aim to provide quality education and overall development of the children.

The vision came true in 1972 at Morkulangara, the semi-urban township, naturally beautiful, cool and calm down town area. The School is owned and managed by the AKM Charitable Trust and name to the glorious remembrance and memory of Archbishop Mar Mathew Kavukattu, who is remembered as servant of God. The School has grown from its simple beginning gaining blessing from its Patron and the founder of S.A.B.S congregation, Archbishop Mar Thomas Kurialacherry. The School was affiliated to CBSE 1 st stream and attained the status of Senior Secondary School in the CBSE stream. Year on year we grow in strength from Kindergarten to XII level passing out with 100% result.
