Pipeflow is an application designed for users of plastic pipe, to calculate the headloss or friction loss of their plastic pipe system. The Pipeflow app enables the user to select the material of the plastic pipe, such as pvc, abs, cpvc, pe and pp, and then select the units of the system; imperial or metric. Pipeflow then asks the user to input the total pipe length, and next the number of each type of fitting used in the system. The fittings are an essential part of any headloss calculation, as often, this is where the greatest headloss is experienced. The results of the headloss or friction loss calculation are presented in clear, easy to understand terminologies. A shortcut on the results page, allows the user to immediately see the results of changing the plastic pipe size, or the water flow rate.
