Pros:
Good character designs.

Live 2D.

Very F2P friendly.

Has a good amount of game mode variety (gameplay in general is pretty good).

Very generous towards new players and even long term players.

Gear system is pretty simple and straight forward, so equiping and upgrading gear is very easy. (Not like other games where you need this and that and 5 other things to do this and that for each piece of equipment).

Initial banners are based on when you start your account, so you won't
miss out on pulling for characters (excluding timed exclusive ones ofc).

Gocha rates are about normal, and has a pity system. (85% for R, 13% for SR, and 2% for SSR for the standard banner).

Daily missions are quick and easy once you've unlocked all the modes, so it doesn't feel burdensome.

Idle rewards (Gold, Crystals, XP Potions) can stack for a loooong time (I believe up to 1 week) so you're not pressured to have to log in everyday.

Free daily log in Stamina (at specific times) And a lot of free redeemable codes. (35+ codes at the time of posting this).

PVP is quick and easy with quick battles for those who don't want to waste their time watching or manually fighting everyone.

NO IN GAME POPUPS FOR PURCHASING "TIME EXCLUSIVE DEALS" (Excluding the $1.00 character pack on the main page but they don't pop up for you to buy them after specific milestones).

Cons:
The computer(A.I) can be pretty inconsistent when your on Auto. (Going from destroying the enemy team to completely loosing in the first 30 seconds).

Base story mode for "Recommended Power" isn't too far off, but the Collapsed mode (Hard mode) is WAY off. Example: Rec Power= 170k, really you'll need about 220K. (Luckily the power issue is only for Hard mode).

STAMINA (energy used for missions) This won't be an issue for new players but once you've unlocked all the modes and get to the point where you'll need to farm mats for upgrading your characters to higher levels or gear.....yeah unless you refresh your Stamina a couple times a day, you'll prob run out quick. (AGAIN this is only an issue later on, not initially).

I would like to post an update based on how the game has been going since my initial post.

Game is still very F2P friendly, but unfortunately with all games overtime (At least mobile games) IC has gone more of the "Spenders prevail" route more so than I would personally like.

Don't get me wrong, you can still do anything that another player can do for PVE content, but when it comes to PVP (Like most games) it's become pay to win. (Mostly for the LIVE PVP they added a while ago) Normal PVP is still pretty basic, but it's definitely not as easy as it once was.

These issues have been brought upon the playerbase due to the IC developers deciding to add UR (Ultra RARE) gear which most of the best gear is locked behind a $100 pack. (You can still obtain a good amount of UR gear for free, but the material thats needed for upgrading them is only obtainable through events or paid packs)

And the most controversial thing that has been added is the Leader Ranks (Elementium system).
This system greatly benefits spenders (More on the heavy spenders side). This elementium material is obtainable through 3 different sources.

1. Daily missions (You can only obtain 200 elementium a day)
2. $5 Monthly Pass (You can obtain 300 on purchase, and you'll recieve 200 daily)
3. Paid packs (The quantity varies based on the pack)

So in general it's a good concept, unfortunately the perks and requirements are pretty insane. It pays to have been a long term player initially, because a lot of the requirements take a good amount of time to achieve. (Or spend A LOT of $$$)
And the main issue is this Leader system will give your team and leader an insane boost to your stats and it doubles when your playing PVP content. (So in other words, LIVE PVP is dominated by whales).

So overall, the game is still fun and enjoyable. But, if PVP is the main thing your into. I wouldn't recommend playing IC unless your a big spender. I personally still play everyday, but I have seen the playerbase drop a lot since this new Elementium system was put in place.

  I forgot to mention the requiremnts for upgrading a single Leader rank (Elementium cost why's)
  Tier 1-4 is pretty cheap honestly, ranging from 200-2000 if i remember correctly.
  Tier 5 is 5500
  Tier 6 is 12000
  Tier 7 is 28000
  Tier 8 is 54000 (Final Rank)
  
  As you can tell, the Elementium needed jumps drastically. And mind you, this is only for 1 Leader.
  You'll be required to upgrade at least 4 others to even be able to rank up to specific ranks.

  Don't forget about the soul mirror that is use to upgrade the characters in the game until you can awaken them (Not all is awaken but yeah) is too much time consuming
  And unless you're a big spender (like you said about the leader elementium lens) your probably gonna have to dedicate yourself playing the game for a very long time until you already max all of them to full stars
