This application will share you how to make perfect use of them – connecting the names of our small family in a DIY Scrabble Name Frame.

Supplies: Scrabble tiles to spell out the names, E-6000 adhesive and a frame. I ordered the tiles from eBay while I used is the small version of IKEA’s “Ribba” frame.

1. Start with trying out different ways to combine and connect the names. Hopefully you have names with at least one common letter. If not you will have to add short words like “and” or “love” or whatever you think fit. If you are anything like me you also want to make sure that the art is balanced.

2. Assemble “the art”, by adding glue to each piece and allow it to partially harden for a couple minutes before pressing them together. I started with “Albert”, then “Elise” and finally my name “Erlend”.

3. Frame the names! I used some double sided tape on the back to make sure the letters stay where I want them to stay – in the middle. And of course the tiles are pressed towards the glass from behind.
