The Noorbakhshi Sufi path is the continuity of the mainstream Sufi order known as Maroofiya, Junediyeh, Suherverdiyeh, Kubraviyeh, Hamdaniyeh, and then Noorbakhshiyeh generally known as the Golden Chain or Silsila-tu-Zahab.
