Kobe Bryant's career spans over 20 years, from winning five NBA titles, an Olympic gold medal, to winning an Oscar. Basketball legend Kobe Bryant (41) and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, died Sunday (1/26/2020). They died from a helicopter accident in California, USA.

Bryant has played for 20 years with the Los Angeles Lakers and is considered one of the best basketball players of all time. He won five NBA championships, the All-Star 18 times and finished fourth on the NBA best score list of all time.

Bryant was born in Philadelphia and attended Lower Merion High School in suburban Philadelphia, where he dominated as a basketball player in high school. He was recruited to the NBA after graduating from high school and became one of the youngest players in league history.

At the age of 34, Bryant became the youngest player in NBA history to surpass 30,000 points. He retired in 2016, and is scheduled to be nominated for the 2020 NBA Hall of Fame.
