Black Holes Blues

Tocar o blues usando uma técnica simples e sensor de movimento do seu dispositivo

"Black Holes' Blues" is a simple sensor-based music instrument, sort of an Ocarina, which allows you to play spacey blues music by holding down and releasing holes while tilting your phone up and down.

Each of the four black holes creates a different tone from the blues scale, and tilting the device transposes the tones, while maintaining the blues harmonics.

FEATURES & INSTRUCTIONS

♬ Hold down one or more black holes to play its corresponding note, all notes are in the blues scale.

♬ While holding down the notes, tilt the device up and down to alter the pitch.

Tilting upward (towards the user) raises the pitch, while tilting downwards (away from the user) lowers the pitch.

Notice the interval between two tones may change, but they always remain part of the blues scale.

♬ Two holes produce a mid-tone sin wave sound, one produces a saw wave and acts as a high pitched lead instrument, and one produces a low triangle wave and acts as a bass instrument.

♬ Tilt the device sideways to change the volume.

Tilting to the right lowers the volume of the notes on the left, while tilting left lowers the volume of the notes on the right.

♬ Just like with a real ocarina - no music knowledge is necessary to create something that sounds super cool.

♬ Very simple and intuitive one-screen interface allows you to open the app and start playing immediately.

♬ This is a full-featured version with no in-app purchases, no freemium, and no intrusive ads (only a small banner ad at the bottom of the screen).
