Chester Playhouse Theatre is the best place for your entertainment on Nova Scotia's South Shore.

Established in 1984, we now present over 80 events per year. Our Spring and Fall events schedule includes a variety of diverse music, films, youth programming , professional touring Theatre shows and community events. During the Summer Theatre Festival in July and August we present the best in professional theatre productions six nights a week. We also have a wide variety of Community Fundraisers, workshops, lectures and art shows.
