The city of Carcassonne opened a 100% electric self-service bicycle system in December 2020. Designed to encourage the use of soft modes and meet the daily travel needs of students, working people, tourists and seniors, this system consists of a fleet of 50 electrically assisted bicycles open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
