SAF International

A SAF é uma organização sem fins lucrativos que realiza trabalhos de alívio da pobreza em toda a Índia.

SAF is a not-for-profit organization, founded in 2014 by members of the Sikh community of Vancouver. Helping all no matter what their race, caste or creed.

SAF International provides poverty relief to vulnerable individuals across India, through multiple projects and initiatives.

SAF International’s first major initiative was its child education sponsorship initiative, the Bloom Literacy Program. In addition to this SAF continues to learn how to better provide stability and support social mobility for the disadvantaged. Please note that SAF International’s work for poverty alleviation and development is inclusive of all people regardless of race, religion, or caste.

There is a large and successful Indian diaspora living in the west. Many of which lament the hardships and struggles of people in their motherland. SAF International is creating and walking a path to support the marginalized in their motherland.

OUR VISION

01 - Quality education for children. Where all children can grow to be literate, knowledgeable, and capable.

02 - People should have housing that is suitable for human beings. This includes access to basic sanitation such as a toilet and clean water.

03 - Address causes of problems to bring a fundamental change, and not simply treat symptoms.

04 - People should be given an opportunity to be self-supporting and reach their full potential.

05 - The social position of women must be equal to men. Young girls and women should receive knowledge and necessary support, so they are not dependent and victimized.
