He is now Member of International Society for SILICON in Agriculture, Los Angeles (America) & International Society for Horticultural Sciences, Leuven, Belgium. The Concept behind floating this company was introduction & promotion of Silicon use in Indian Agriculture. Dr. N.K. Sawant renowned world scientist who has spent his whole life in Silicon research in various countries worldwide has motivated and inspired Dr. Shivaji Thorat for this pioneer work in Agriculture.
