Cinque Terre - National Park in Italy, including man-made terraces and five small settlements on the coast of the Gulf of Genoa in the province of La Spezia Administrative region Liguria. The region is located on the territory of the eastern part of the so-called Riviera - Riviera di Levante. Local monuments date back to the Middle Ages but the appearance of some settlements dates back to Roman times.

In 1997, Cinque Terre together with the city of Portovenere and the nearest islands ( Palmaria Tino and Tinetto ) became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
