Construction Monokok was first used in the aircraft industry. But in its development this technique is also applied to the assembly of cars. Lancia Lambda first used a monoclear chassis in 1923. Then Citroën Traction Avant in 1934 was the first monocle mass product with monokok.

Currently, 99% of mass product vehicles are already using monocoach steel chassis, due to low production costs and can be combined with assembly using a robotic system.

Advantages:

- Space efficiency

- Protection of the cabin in the event of an accident

- The cost is relatively cheap for production

Weakness:

- Weight is quite heavy

- Not suitable for production in small quantities
