Upper-cased units are all formally defined US surveying units, which are slightly larger in value, than the same International units.

SurvPro seamlessly handles the US Surveying Units in combination with the International Units and the Metrics, awesome!!

We have developed a nice Distance Conversion Calculator in the past, with great reviews, including from land surveying pros, and we started the development of this new software from right there.

EXAMPLE:

Surveying property lines in land surveys in the USA are normally shown in Bearing-Distance format.

For example, S64°50'54"E, 96.94', where S64°50'54"E is the bearing and 96.94' is the distance of this particular property line.

The bearing part in our example gives the direction South-East of that property line on Earth in angular Degrees-Minutes-Seconds, while the distance part gives its length in Feet.

SurvPro was not designed to deal with angular data, like the one in the bearing part of the property line's description in our example!

However, if one would like to know this distance in more familiar units, for example in meters, he or she could enter the number 96.94 in the white box for ft (Feet) and SurvPro would display a bunch of conversions, including that one to meters, which is 29.547 meters.

SurvPro was not intended to replace your professional CAD software for precise conversions, but to complement it for your convenience on your mobile devices!
