evTraces seamlessly integrates with Mapgears' solutions to provide you with easy-to-use and affordable tracking using any smartphone or tablet.

## How it works ##

By leveraging the GPS chip inside modern smart devices, evTraces emits location points at a set interval, which are then automatically sent to your Mapgears product through the Internet.

As such, this app has 2 separate working modes: with and without mobile data access.

► Without mobile data access

The location points are saved in the device’s storage only. Then, when the device gains access to mobile data, the locally saved points are emitted to your Mapgears product all at once.

► With mobile data access

The location points are sent to your Mapgears product at the pre-set interval, allowing you to accurately follow asset movements in real time.
