This App (for Beta testers only) contains Assamese male voice database for Hear2Read Indic Text To Speech (TTS) App.

Please install this after installing Indic Hear2Read Text To Speech App version 2.2.1 (also available to Beta testers only) to read Assamese text using the TTS App.

We know that the synthetic speech output is not pleasant to hear. It sounds like an old man's voice. We are working on improving the speech output quality.

We also know that there are some pronunciation errors. The purpose of Beta test release is to collect feedback on mispronunciations. We need 10 - 20 (more the merrier) examples of each pronunciation error to understand the pattern, find the root cause and then fix it. It is a long and slow process.

Additional Beta releases will be made as improvements are made. The App will be released for general distribution to everyone (production release) once the Beta testers tell us that it is ready for distribution to everyone.
