Your Android Phone / Tablet is designed to work all the time, even when you don't use them. Hibernate My Android App saves battery when the device is not in use. It works when the screen goes off, it hibernates CPU (Processor), Settings and Apps to save battery consumption.

CPU Hibernation:

This will automatically set processor (CPU) to the lowest possible frequency and voltage which ensures huge battery savings. It gives you more control of the power consumption of your android device.

"The brain of your Android" i.e CPU constantly computes many demanding tasks. For example: updating widgets, checking for updates, etc. This computing power drains a lot of battery and is used when you do not need it. That is why CPU frequency needs to be lowered when the screen is OFF.

Its prime purpose is to be a battery saver and to save as much battery as possible, but it can be used to overclock at the same time (if the kernel of your device supports it).

Depending on triggers (based on the battery) different profiles are loaded. Each trigger has different profiles depending of the the state of your phone (if it is locked, on battery, on power or a phone call is being done).

Settings Hibernation:

Choose which setting will be automatically disabled (hibernated) when your screen is OFF & enabled when screen is ON.

If you hate frequently changing your settings or you just want to save more battery, this option is suitable for you. It is better to have enabled hibernation for all settings.

You can apply settings hibernation to: Wi-Fi, mobile data (APN), bluetooth (BT), etc

Applications hibernation:

Choose which battery-draining apps will be disabled (hibernated) when the screen is OFF.

Some of your installed apps are constantly performing some battery-draining tasks in background. For example: social app updates your status and checks for the new messages, notifications. If you hibernate this app, it stops all tasks running in background (services) which causes extreme battery savings. This hibernation is more effective than task killers or any other memory cleaners.

Battery Widget:

Battery widget gives you control right from your home screen.

IMPORTANT: Hibernating an app implies that you are aware that all the background functionality (service, periodic task, event receiver, alarm, widget update, push message) of this app will become out of service during the hibernation except when you are using this app.

NEVER Hibernate alarm clock apps, instant messaging apps unless you don't rely on them. Please do verify the impact of hibernated apps on which you heavily rely.

Note: This app is designed to work only with rooted devices.

Warning: If you have problems with some of hibernated apps, disable particular hibernation and restart particular app.
