Jammu and Kashmir Government Yellow Pages has been contemplated as a one stop place for all Government Contacts, Web Directory and Public Utilities. The project is an initiative of District Administration Jammu, Government of J&K and has been designed and developed by National Informatics Centre, Government of India.

A web portal has also been prepared for this project and has all the provisions of updating information on regular basis. Citizens can also access the web portal at http://nicjkapps.nic.in/jammu.

This project is intended to cover all locations, department across the union territory once replicated to entire J&K UT. Data updation through portal shall is the mandate of respective administrative locations / departments. This Mobile Application will act an ePocket Directory for each and every individual.

The project also contains information about top visited web sites in J&K UT and shall also be updated regularly. Though utmost Care has been taken to provide information to the citizens in an administrative hierarchal order, constant endeavours shall be made to improve the Mobile App and Web Interface from time to time.

This project will act as a major repository of contact information of all Government Departments and can be used to by authorities and citizens in case of requirement as well as exigencies. This information will also be very useful especially for District Disaster Management Authorities of all Districts of the J&K UT as well as Government of India.

Presently Android version of this App is available and IOS version shall also be released shortly to facilitate people having IOS devices.
