MalDiving Cook Edition is a mobile application for smartphones aimed to promote the sharing of information regarding the cooking recipes in the Maldive area where the Marine Research and High Education Center (MaRHE Center) is located.

MaRHE Center is a researching and teaching station situated on a Maldivian island in the middle of the Indian ocean. The MaRHE Center was officially inaugurated on January 28th, 2009.

Purpose of the Center is to carry out research and teaching activities in the fields of environmental sciences and marine biology, science of tourism and cultural geography, to teach how to protect this fragile environment and its biodiversity, how to use and manage its resources in a responsible way.

The project has been cofunded by the University of Milano-Bicocca, the Government of the Republic of Maldives, the Italian Ministry of Research and Education, the Municipality of Milan and EXPO 2015.

MalDiving Cook Edition is a non-profit project developed by the Software Architecture Laboratory of the University of Milan-Bicocca.
