Fully offline taxi meter app for Kathmandu Valley.

In order to use it offline click download from the menu. This will download OSM map and routing data and store it locally in your phone. You can then got to preference and enable offline mode in order to use it completely offline.

Taxi meter tampering and cheating unaware passengers with higher public transportation fares is a common practice in Nepal. Our project attempts to solve this by building a location aware smartphone app that syncs with government provided fare rates and that can be used by passengers while they are travelling.

Mero Bhada Meter is an app that lets you track you taxi fare and gives you a chance to save yourself from taxi meter tampering. You can either track the travel with GPS tracking or you can calculate the fares by selecting the route in the map. Mero Bhada Meter works both online and offline.

As promised, KLL has now released Mero Bhada Meter app with the following key features:

Pre-calculation of Fares by setting Departure and Destination points

Alternative route selection using 'via' points

Fare Calculation using GPS

Real Time Fare Display

Also works in Offline Mode
