This app can be used in the following ways:
1. If you're a customer and are looking for a taxi, you will find one in seconds with this app! If you're looking for a free ride from carpoolers, that can be done too.
2. If you're a taxi driver, it becomes much easier for customers to hire you through this app!
3. If you have a car, you care about the environment and are willing to carpool, that is possible as well.
*** IMPORTANT ***: To sign up as a driver, just send us an email to [email protected] along with the following information: your name, email, contact number, vehicle make, vehicle model, vehicle colour, vehicle registration number and allowed number of passengers. If you're not a carpooler, add in your rate (price) per km in MUR. We will then send you your login details.
Features
Interactive Map: All drivers are displayed on the map with real time locations.
Push Notifications: Users receive push notifications when drivers accept their requests. So do drivers when they get ride requests.
Vehicle Tracking: Users can track their requested driver on a map as they wait for them to arrive at the pickup location.
Vehicle Information: Users can see vehicle information such as make and model, colour, maximum number of passengers, and rate per km if it's a taxi.
GPS Pickup: GPS functionality removes the need for users to type in pickup addresses.
Voice Recognition: Users can use a voice command to locate the nearest driver.
Ride History: Users can view a complete record of their previous trips.
Important: Mo Ti Taxi allows its users to carpool. As such, you understand that any form of payment that takes place between drivers (except for taxi drivers) and clients are not and cannot be controlled by Mo Ti Taxi. Mo Ti Taxi does not collect any fees from drivers for their use of the Services nor does Mo Ti Taxi make any money by your use of its applications. Mo Ti Taxi has only provided these services and applications in a gesture of goodwill to the people of Mauritius.
