Fasal Bima yojana is a flagship scheme from the government of India, It basically provides agriculture insurance or we can say crop insurance to the farmers.

The main objectives of the scheme are :

- Providing financial support to farmers suffering crop loss/damage arising out of unforeseen events

- Stabilizing the income of farmers to ensure their continuance in farming

- Sncouraging farmers to adopt innovative and modern agricultural practices

- Ensuring flow of credit to the agriculture sector which contributes to food security, crop diversification and enhancing growth and competitiveness of agriculture sector besides protecting farmers from production risks.

1. Land record document (for the standing crop against which insurance is taken)

3. Bank passbook photocopy
