Camel or camel are two species of cloven-hoofed animals from the genus Camelus (single humped one - Camelus dromedarius, one double humped - Camelus bactrianus) whose life is found in arid and desert regions in Asia and North Africa. The average life expectancy of a camel is between 30 to 50 years.

The domestication of the camel by humans began approximately 5,000 years ago. Utilization among others to be taken camel milk (which has a higher nutritional value than cow's milk) and meat, and is also used as a work animal.
