Skybrake, established in 1994, is a designer, developer and manufacturer of wireless technology products. The company’s main fields of business include product development and manufacturing for vehicle security, fleet management systems, telematic or Pay-As-You-Drive insurance, smart meters, smart house and home security. The Skybrake products are high class and in keeping with the trends of the contemporary global development.

Nowadays, Skybrake has become one of the largest Eastern European manufacturers of car security systems and a highly recognized technology manufacturer in the region. Throughout the the years, the company has not only maintained its leading position, but has also grown into a reputed OEM developer.

Skybrake has proven itself by receiving both national and international awards and nominations. For three consecutive years since 2008, Skybrake products have been nominated as finalists for Latvian National Export and Innovation Award, in 2010 being awarded the second prize in the category „Most innovative product”. In 2010, a Skybrake product received Great Britain’s LAMMA main award as „Best New/Innovative Product”.

Up to 90% of our production is export. Our achievements, long-term partnership philosophy and successful cooperation with both commercial and governmental partners are the main reason why Skybrake is highly valued by partners both in Latvia and abroad.

High quality is the main goal of Skybrake manufacturing. High quality is ensured thanks to special product manufacturing and manufacturing control procedures. For every product special Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI) are developed. MPI ensures a high quality along with control of manufacturing process, testing of each product and registration of information on each phase of product manufacturing and its events.

The manufacturing stage consists of four phases:

* Testing of each component

* Product manufacturing

* Product testing, functionality check

* Quality check and analysis, product packaging and shipping

The company works to ISO 9001:2008 standards.

Prior to every new product’s development, Skybrake Marketing and Development departments perform a thorough analysis and research of the desired product parameters like design, functions, size and comfort of use. Integrated systems with reduced number of wiring termination points constitute the main reason why many partners choose to distribute and install Skybrake products out of all others.
