The 'Tamil Quran' is an Android app of the Quranic Translation by Maulana Qutubuddin Ahmed Baqavi. The translation of the Holy Book into the Tamil language was completed in early 1980s and is also being maintained as a desktop application by the Islamic Foundation Trust, Chennai who have been in the field of deen since 1979.

Milestones of IFT:

1980 – Quran Translation Completed

1981 – Enters Print Media (SAMARASAM)

1992 – Launches Mobile Medical Services

1994 – Publishing books as Handwith

1994 – Launches “HECSI” (Health Care Service India)

1998 – Commences Audio Cassette aided Quranic Reading Project

2000 – Enters Electronic Media (MANUDA VASANDAM)

2002 – Commences CD aided Quranic (Tamil) Audio Project

2003+ Many more Publications and Media releases
