The American Academy of Pediatrics believes that early intervention is critical for children with developmental delays. However, most children in the U.S. are diagnosed with delays such as autism after the age when treatments have the greatest opportunity for lifelong impact. Cognoa Inc. has developed diagnostic software based on machine learning technology to help healthcare providers identify children with autism as early as possible in the primary care setting.

The purpose of the Cognoa ASD Diagnosis Aid Validation Study is to assess the ability of the device to aid in the diagnosis of ASD. The device is intended for investigational use only. The performance characteristics of this product have not been established.
