Use Crescendo Mobile to log on to Windows, sign and encrypt email and documents

HID Crescendo® Mobile turns your phone into a high assurance identity credential that can be used for authentication, signature and encryption.

Issuance of Crescendo Mobile requires an installation of ActivID Credential Management System with a supported certification authority. Organization use ActivID CMS to manage physical and virtual smart cards for employees, contactors and partners

With digital certificates in Crescendo Mobile you can:

- Log on to Windows and automatically lock your workstation when you walk away from your desk with your phone

- Log on to a VPN and to Web Sites that support client certificate authentication

- Digitally sign and encrypt email using a Windows mail client that supports S/MIME

- Digitally sign Microsoft Office or Adobe Acrobat documents to ensure that their contents has not been modified after they are signed
