This application is an audio book about The Christian Home, written many years ago by the American writer Elena G. White.

The audio book tells us that the home is a place where the family respects and practices the norms and principles taught in the Bible. Fathers and mothers have received from our Lord Jesus Christ the mandate to instruct their children in the fear of God, in order to convert them into useful, honest and loyal men and women, and to prepare them for eternal life.

Mrs. Ellen G. White wrote many valuable tips for parents. In it the parents will find, given in words impregnated with the wisdom of the heavenly Father, the answers to many of the questions they ask themselves. In compiling this work, extracts from Mrs. E. G. de White's writings produced over seven decades have been obtained, but a good part has been gleaned from the thousands of articles she prepared for the denomination's magazines. Published works, special testimonies that came to light in the form of brochures and manuscript archives have also contributed to enriching the volume.

In relation to each chapter, appropriate references are given. Excerpts from different sources are presented in logical succession although they were written on different occasions. This occasionally imposes an interruption in the development of thought or style, because the compilers limited their work to select and order the material, and the only thing they have inserted is constituted by the subtitles.

This document was prepared at the Ellen G. White Publications office, and the work was done in accordance with the instructions Mrs. White left to her trustees when making provision “for printing compilations” of her manuscripts , because, she said, they contain "instructions that the Lord gave me for his people."

Never in the history of the world has a book been needed as urgently as it is needed now. Never have parents and children yearned so much for the right answer to the problems that concern them. Homes have never been in such danger as now.

Each of us knows that the prevailing conditions in society are but a reflection of the conditions that prevail in the homes of the nation. We also know that any change made at home will be reflected in a changed society.
