Prevention is indeed better than cure but there is no other way to avert illnesses brought by mosquitoes than by proper maintenance and sanitation in the community. This application allows constant reporting of the OL level in traps placed in designated areas hence leading to proper monitoring of the mosquito infestation density in a specific area. With this feature, public agencies stay informed allowing them to formulate fact-based decisions to control further propagation of the disease carrying insect.
