Jhang (Punjabi and Urdu: جھنگ) is the capital city of Jhang District, in the central portion of the province of Punjab, Pakistan. It is situated on the east bank of the Chenab river. According to the 2017 Census of Pakistan, it had a population of 414,131.[1] It is the 18th Largest city of Pakistan. It is known for the shrine of Sultan Bahoo and Heer and Ranjha's Tomb.
