In the game “Rock Factory” you are tasked with setting up and running your very own virtual rock band. A band is a small business, and so as you progress through the game you will learn to think like an entrepreneur and apply the laws of economics to your band.

Your task is directing the career of the band as they shoot for fame and fortune. The aim of the game is to earn enough money to quit your dayjob and become a full time professional musician.

Rock Factory is the result of the commitment and cooperation of youth groups in the UK and Poland (Students from Birmingham Music School -  Yamaha Music Point and Koszalin Yamaha Music School).

The economic content was derived from workshops conducted by economists working with each of the youth groups, was overseen by a team of external academic experts from the Koszalin University of Technology and produced and made by the talented team at “Very Nice Studio” in Gdynia, Poland.
