Xiaomi Bokeh is a system app on Xiaomi, POCO and Redmi devices that allows you to enjoy the portrait mode feature. As its name suggests, the bokeh feature generates background blur, emulating what professional cameras generate when you zoom in on someone and have a large lens aperture.

How to access portrait mode on Xiaomi
To access portrait mode on a Xiaomi device, go to the Camera app. Then, in the feature section (containing those such as Photo, Video and Pro), swipe until you see Portrait. In this mode, you can see the blur or bokeh effect applied to whatever the camera is currently viewing in real-time.

How to use portrait mode
Depending on the Xiaomi device, including the lenses used and whether it is Leica-certified, available features may vary. In a Leica-certified device, you can find different modes with focal lengths such as 35 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm or 90 mm, allowing you to adapt each portrait to each situation. You can also apply color and light filters, as well as add skin smoothing, wrinkles and other facial blemishes.
