A mobile application that advances waste collection at source

The Fâro mobile application aims to raise awareness among the population about the issues of plastic pollution and waste recycling, by significantly increasing the quantity of waste collected, recycled and reinjected into a local reprocessing circuit.

As an individual, concierge, manager of a residence, waste collector, join the application to simplify your daily life and fight against plastic pollution! The Tunisian version of the application is created in collaboration with the MEGARA Association for Sustainable Smart Cities. Created in 2009, and present in more than 180 municipalities, this structure encourages local initiatives for the sustainable development of Tunis.

Are you an individual and would like to sort your waste better?

Create your account on the Fâro app and select your residence. You can contact your concierge / caretaker / person in charge of your premises to provide you with a Fâro collection bag.

The list of waste to be collected in the bag is as follows: plastic, cardboard, paper, canned goods, aluminum.

Once the bag is full, notify the application of a bag drop-off by entering the associated bag number. All you have to do is contact your concierge / caretaker / person in charge of your premises to find out the deposit arrangements.

Depending on the quantity of waste collected, you earn eco-points, giving you access to many advantages in your local businesses!

Are you a concierge and would you like to take part in the Fâro adventure?

As a janitor, you will be responsible for the centralization of waste bags on your premises, as well as the proper distribution of new bags to ensure an increasing and seamless collection rate. Thanks to the Fâro application, a barbecha will be assigned to your residence and responsible for collecting the filled bags.

Depending on the quantity of waste collected, you earn eco-points, giving you access to many advantages in your local businesses!
