This way you can train your dog anywhere without disturbing other people. Moreover your dog will learn faster, because it is way much easier for your pet to distinguish pure tone than verbal commands.
Just use ultrasonic sound instead of giving your dog a command. For example:
Play 2 sec. of 18 kHz sound instead of saying "Sit". Try to learn dog, that it has to sit after the sound has been played. Repeat it for a couple of days and your dog will react and sit down as you wanted to.
This app can be also used to scare unwanted dogs (for example your neighbours annoying puppy).
