Emmaüs was created 72 years ago to find, with people who are victims of exclusion, solutions that allow them to become active again in their lives. Faithful to Abbé Pierre's wishes, Emmaus has become both a factory of social innovations and solidarity to help people in a very precarious situation, and a committed and militant front in favor of a more humane society and more just.
The experience of the Emmaus Movement and that of the men and women who make it up today make it a key player in the fight against poverty. Its longevity and its ability to adapt its responses to changes in poverty attest to the relevance of the actions it implements.
