A field worker and staff member application for conducting patient screenings

The Genetics Pharma Health Camp mobile application developed by Medworks is used to conduct patient screenings in the field. We offer a versatile data collection tool for overcoming public health challenges to achieve United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for noncommunicable diseases.

Data is stored and securely transmitted to a cloud server, ensuring privacy protection of patient information. The application relies on the Glu-Sage Glucose Meter to record sugar levels. The Glucose Meter is inserted into the audio jack of a smart phone, allowing healthcare providers to seamlessly carry out data collection. Screenings are conducted and recorded geographically to track data at a city, area and clinic level. The staff member can see previous records to administer patient blood glucose level along with data points collected on blood pressure, BMI, cholesterol etc to monitor associated risk factors. Dashboards are designed to allow staff members to view patient progress holistically on the basis of recommendations made by healthcare providers.

Additionally, to accommodate for internet connectivity challenges, readings are saved on the phone in offline mode to mitigate disruption of screening activity in the field. Once internet connection has been restored, readings are automatically pushed on to the server to prevent data loss.
