Al Habib Ali bin Muhammad Al Habsyi was a great scholar from Hadraumut, Tarim, Yemen who was born in 1259 H / 1839 AD and died in 1333 H / 1913 AD Among his sons who were known in Indonesia were his youngest sons ; Al-Habib Alwi bin Ali Al-Habsyi who was the founder of the mosque "Riyadh" in the city of Solo (Surakarta). Al-Habib Alwi ibn Ali Al-Habsyi is known as a very noble character who is virtuous, gentle, polite, and friendly towards anyone, especially the weak, needy, orphaned and so on. His residence is always open to guests from various groups and is never deserted from recitation and religious meetings. Al-Habib Alwi bin Ali Al-Habsyi died in the city of Palembang on the 20th of Rabi'ul Awal 1373 AH and was buried in the city of Surakarta.
