Explanation of the Culinary Jurisprudence of Haram Iskar Rules by Ust. Wildanjauhari, Lc

This Android application is an explanation of the Culinary Jurisprudence of Haram Iskar Rules by Ust. Wildanjauhari, Lc.. In Pdf format.

The word iskar follows the pattern of the word if'al, taken from the derivation of the words askara-yuskiru-iskaar. It is a transitive verb from an intransitive root word, namely sakira-yaskaru-sakr-sakar-sukr-sukur-sukraan. For example, sakira fulan min al-syarab, meaning fulan has lost his mind and consciousness. Al-sukr is the loss of reason due to the influence of intoxicating drinks. Al-sakar is anything that is intoxicating in the form of wine and drinks.

Allah Almighty says: And from dates and grapes, you make an intoxicating minimum and good sustenance. Indeed, in that there really is a sign (of Allah's greatness) for those who think. (QS. An-Nahl: 67)

Friend Abdullah bin Abbas interpreted the verse by saying, "intoxicating drinks are things that are haram to be consumed from dates and grapes, while good fortune is something that is halal to be consumed from both, such as vinegar, tamr (dried dates), zabib (dried grapes). / raisins), and others.

Meanwhile, a sacraan is a person whose speech is chaotic and mostly delirious in confinement without realizing it.

As for terminology, iskar is anything that can diminish reason and consciousness, whether in the form of drink or something else. So, iskar here means muskir (something intoxicating) itself.

Basically, Islamic law prohibits anything that is intoxicating (muskir). That is, one that can eliminate reason - not with the five senses accompanied by pleasure and a feeling of 'happy'. For example, khamr is made from raw grape juice, or something else, either from vegetable sources such as intoxicating nabidz, or from animal sources such as pure milk which is deliberately left to become intoxicating khamr.

As the Shari'a also forbids consuming mukhaddiraat, which is something that removes the mind - not the five senses without being accompanied by a feeling of pleasure/happy. For example; marijuana. It also forbids what is called muraqqid, namely something that can eliminate the function of the mind and the five senses at once. Examples include opium and other intoxicants.
