Flexa

Flexa is a new offer of the Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe

Flexa picks you up almost at your doorstep and takes you to your desired destination, to the next tram or bus stop and the next train station. Flexa is currently operating in the north of Leipzig ("Flexa Nord") and from April 1st, 2021 in the south-east ("Flexa Südost"). And that at the MDV tariff and almost around the clock. Flexa Nord operates in the Leipzig districts of Lindenthal, Breitenfeld, Wiederitzsch and Seehausen. From April 1st, 2021, our vehicles with Flexa Südost will also be on the road in Holzhausen, Meusdorf and Probstheida!

The Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe have been testing their new "Flexa" offer since October 13, 2019.

The LVB are thus exclusively supplementing the existing offer in the pilot phase. In this way, the LVB want to gain experience with this new type of mobility offer and continuously optimize it.

In order to adequately test the new mobility offer, the LVB has programmed a test app in cooperation with the Max Planck Institute DS. The functionality and usability of the modular application, which is to be continuously improved during the project period, are to be tested.
