CIPET IPT Ahmedabad Centre is in the state of Gujarat was established at Ahmedabad in the year 1984 to cater the need of Plastics industries of the Western part of the country. 

CIPET IPT Ahmedabad campus is spread in an area of 9 acres of the serene environment conducive for academics and is located at "Vatva GIDC Industrial Area" at Ahmedabad with all the necessary infrastructural facilities. 

CIPET Ahmedabad provides AICTE approved courses in Diploma( Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT), Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT)), Post Graduate Diploma in Plastics Processing and Testing (PGDPPT)B.E. (Plastics Engineering) Course is offered since 2009-10, B.E. (Manufacturing Engineering) Course is offered since 2010-11, M.E. (Plastics Engineering) Course is offered since 2010-11 and M.Sc. (Polymer Science) The course is offered since 2013-14.
