The electronic patient record (ePA) can be used for life from January 1st, 2021.

The IKK classic ePA app: the central portal for everything about your health. Your independent access to various functions, services and offers – mobile, ad-free and free to use on your smartphone. The basis of this app is the electronic patient record (ePA).

Electronic patient record (ePA):

The EHR is a digital, protected storage location for your personal health information and medical documents. This allows you to store, manage and delete information about your own health - only you decide who has access to it. This means you have all your important health data at your fingertips, anytime and anywhere - for better and faster medical treatment. This avoids double examinations.

E-prescription:

With the e-prescription you can keep track of your prescriptions - regardless of whether they have already been redeemed or are still open. Good to know: You can easily find the nearest pharmacy using the integrated search function.

Recommended services: easily discover them in the app:

- organspende-register.de: Document your decision for or against organ and tissue donation online in the central electronic directory. The entry is voluntary, free of charge and can be updated or deleted at any time.

- Gesund.bund.de: The official portal of the Federal Ministry of Health offers you extensive and reliable information on numerous health topics.

Security:

There are strict legal requirements for the development and approval of electronic patient files, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As IKK classic, the best possible protection of your health data is particularly important to us. For your secure access you therefore need a health ID. You will receive this during your registration in the app. This registration also includes one-time identification - you have several options for this.

The app is constantly being developed further – in accordance with legal requirements.
